ضمن حملتها التوعوية الصيفية .. "جارمكو" تنظم محاضرة حول حول الأمراض الناجمة عن التعرض المفرط لحرارة الصيف بالتعاون مع مركز البيان الطبي
انطلاقًا من حرصها المتواصل على صحة وسلامة موظفيها، أطلقت جارمكو حملتها التوعوية لفصل الصيف لعام 2025، وذلك من خلال تنظيم أولى المحاضرات التوعوية في مقر الشركة بالتعاون مع مركز البيان الطبي، بحضور عدد كبير من الموظفين من مختلف الإدارات.
قدم المحاضرة كل من الدكتور ياسر منصور، والدكتورة مريم صادق، و تطرقت المحاضرة إلى موضوع بالغ الأهمية خلال أشهر الصيف، وهو "الأمراض الناتجة عن التعرض للحرارة، وطرق الوقاية والتصرف السليم في الحالات الطارئة".
واستعرض المحاضران أنواع الإجهاد الحراري، وأعراض ضربة الشمس، وحالات الجفاف، بالإضافة إلى أساليب الإسعافات الأولية الواجب اتباعها عند رصد مثل هذه الحالات في أماكن العمل أو في الحياة اليومية. كما تم التركيز على أهمية التوعية المسبقة، والتصرف السريع، ودور زملاء العمل في تقديم الدعم حتى وصول الطواقم الطبية.
وفي ختام المحاضرة، تم تنظيم فحوصات طبية مجانية للموظفين، شملت قياس ضغط الدم، ومستوى السكر، وذلك بإشراف طاقم طبي متخصص من مركز البيان الطبي. وحرصت دائرة التواصل المؤسسي في جارمكو على أن تكون هذه الفعالية توعوية وتفاعلية في آنٍ واحد، إذ أُقيمت مسابقة معلوماتية خفيفة لاختبار معلومات الموظفين المستفادة من المحاضرة، وجرى توزيع جوائز مقدّمة من الشركة للفائزين.
وتعتزم جارمكو مواصلة حملتها التوعوية خلال أشهر الصيف بمحاضرات ومبادرات وفعاليات جديدة، وذلك لتعزيز ثقافة الوعي الصحي في بيئة العمل.
As part of its summer campaign, GARMCO organized a session on illnesses caused by excessive exposure to summer heat, in collaboration with Al Bayan Medical Center.
In line with its ongoing commitment to the health and safety of its employees, GARMCO launched its 2025 Summer Awareness Campaign by hosting the first awareness session at the company premises, in cooperation with Al Bayan Medical Center. The session was attended by a large number of employees from various departments.
The lecture delivered by Dr. Yasser Mansour and Dr. Maryam Sadiq and addressed a critical topic during the summer months: “Heat-related illnesses, prevention methods, and proper emergency response.”
The doctors covered various types of heat stress, symptoms of heatstroke, dehydration cases, and the necessary first aid procedures to follow when such incidents occur, whether in the workplace or in daily life. Emphasis was placed on the importance of early awareness, quick action, and the role of colleagues in offering support until medical teams arrive.
At the end of the lecture, free medical checkups were offered to employees, including blood pressure and blood sugar measurements, under the supervision of a professional medical team from Al Bayan Medical Center. GARMCO’s Corporate Communications Department ensured the event was both educational and interactive by organizing an engaging knowledge quiz to test employees’ knowledge gained from the session, with prizes awarded to the winners.
GARMCO plans to continue its summer campaign with more lectures, initiatives, and activities aimed at further promoting a culture of health awareness in the workplace.
