ضمن احتفالات مملكة البحرين بالعيد الوطني المجيد وعيد جلوس جلالة الملك المعظم، شاركت الخليج لدرفلة الألمنيوم "جارمكو" في بطولة الوحدة العمالية السابعة عشرة لكرة القدم والتي نظمها الاتحاد العام لنقابات عمال البحرين يوم 6 ديسمبر 2025 على ملعب مركز تمكين شباب أبو قوة، بمشاركة عدد من النقابات العمالية وبحضور جماهيري مميز.
وأسفرت منافسات البطولة عن تتويج فريق نقابة عمال جارمكو بلقب البطولة بعد مباراة نهائية حماسية.
وتأتي مشاركة جارمكو مع الاتحاد العام في البطولة في إطار تعزيز الروابط الاجتماعية بين العمال، وترسيخ قيم التعاون والعمل الجماعي، إلى جانب تشجيع المشاركة الرياضية.
As part of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebrations of the National Day and the Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne, Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (GARMCO) participated in the 17th Workers’ Unity Football Championship, organized by the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions on 6 December 2025 at the Tamkeen Youth Center football in Abu Quwah, with the participation of several labor unions.
The tournament ended with the GARMCO Workers’ Union team being crowned champions after an exciting final match.
GARMCO’s participation in the championship alongside the General Federation comes as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen social ties among workers, promote the values of cooperation and teamwork, and encourage sports participation.
