جارمكو تبحث سبل التعاون مع "دايكي" اليابانية و"ألبا" لتعزيز حلول الاستدامة في إدارة المخلّفات المعدنية
في خطوة تعكس التزامها الراسخ بالمسؤولية البيئية والابتكار الصناعي، عقدت الخليج لدرفلة الألمنيوم (جارمكو) مؤخرًا اجتماعًا مع ممثلين من شركة دايكي اليابان وشركة ألمنيوم البحرين (ألبا)، لبحث سبل التعاون في إطار مبادرة ADSS البحرين - "حلول ألبا ودايكي المستدامة".
وتركزت المناقشات على تطوير وتعزيز عملية إدارة المخلّفات المعدنية (Dross Management)، باعتبارها إحدى الخطوات الجوهرية لتحقيق كفاءة أكبر في استغلال الموارد وتقليل الأثر البيئي، بما يتماشى مع التوجهات العالمية نحو اقتصاد أكثر استدامة.
وقال السيد إبراهيم خليل – المدير التنفيذي للعمليات في جارمكو:"إن هذا التعاون المحتمل يمثل "فرصة استراتيجية لدمج الخبرات اليابانية والبحرينية مع قدرات جارمكو الصناعية، من أجل صياغة حلول عملية ترفع من كفاءة سلسلة القيمة وتدعم الأهداف البيئية المشتركة".
ويأتي هذا الاجتماع في وقت تشهد فيه صناعة الألمنيوم العالمية تركيزًا متناميًا على مبادئ الاستدامة، ما يجعل التعاون بين المؤسسات الصناعية الكبرى ضرورة استراتيجية.
وتشدد جارمكو على أن هذه المبادرة تمثل امتدادًا لرؤيتها الاستراتيجية بعيدة المدى، التي تقوم على المواءمة بين التوسع الصناعي والحفاظ على البيئة، مؤكدة التزامها المتواصل بالتعاون مع شركاء محليين ودوليين لتطوير حلول مبتكرة ومستدامة تسهم في دفع صناعة الألمنيوم نحو آفاق أكثر كفاءة ومسؤولية.
GARMCO Explores Collaboration with Japan’s Daiki and Alba to Enhance Sustainable Solutions in Metal Waste Management
In a step that reflects its strong commitment to environmental responsibility and industrial innovation, Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (GARMCO) recently held a meeting with representatives from Japan’s Daiki and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) to explore potential collaboration under the Bahrain ADSS initiative – Alba and Daiki Sustainable Solutions.
The discussions focused on advancing and strengthening the process of dross management, which is considered a vital step toward improving resource efficiency and minimizing environmental impact toward a more sustainable economy.
Mr. Ebrahim Khalil, Executive Manager – Operations at GARMCO, stated: “This potential collaboration represents a strategic opportunity to integrate Japanese and Bahraini expertise with GARMCO’s industrial capabilities, in order to develop practical solutions that enhance value chain efficiency and support shared environmental objectives.”
