"جارمكو" تستقبل الدفعة الأولى من برنامج التدريب المهني في قسم الهندسة
بالتعاون مع صندوق العمل (تمكين)، وبوليتكنك البحرين، ولدعم الشباب البحريني، استقبلت الخليج لدرفلة الألمنيوم (جارمكو) الدفعة الأولى من برنامج التلمذة المهنية في قسم الهندسة.
حيث يهدف البرنامج إلى تعزيز المهارات التقنية في سوق العمل من خلال دعم الخريجين الجدد من المجال الصناعي وتزويدهم بالخبرات والمهارات اللازمة ليصبحوا فنيين ذوي كفاءة عالية.
وبهذه المناسبة صرح السيد فهد البسام – مدير تنفيذي - الشؤون الادارية "(برنامج التلمذة المهنية يمنج الطلاب دبلوم في الهندسة الميكانيكية، والفترة الزمنية للبرنامج هي 3 سنوات، حيث يتضمن البرنامج مزيجًا من التعليم الأكاديمي والتدريب العملي على رأس العمل، ويتشكل البرنامج من 30% التعليم الأكاديمي و70% التدريب العملي)".
وأضاف:" ترتكز هذه النسبة على ضمان أن يتمكن الطلاب من تطبيق ما تعلموه أكاديميًا في بيئة العمل الواقعية، مما يعزز من مهاراتهم وكفاءاتهم كفنيين ميكانيكيين. إذ يهدف البرنامج إلى تجهيز الجيل القادم بالمعرفة والخبرة اللازمة للتميز في القطاع الصناعي، مما يساهم في تطوير المهارات الفنية المطلوبة في السوق المحلي"، مؤكدا ان جارمكو ستستمر في هذا البرنامج والذي يهدف الى تدريب وتوظيف الخريجين البحرينيين.
مختتماً، بأن هذا البرنامج يعكس التزام جارمكو بالمسؤولية الاجتماعية من خلال الاستثمار في الجيل القادم من الفنيين وتوفير الفرص للكوادر البحرينية من جميع المسارات التعليمية.
يذكر ان الخليج لدرفلة الألمنيوم - جارمكو قد عملت على العديد من البرامج والدورات التدريبية لدعم الشباب البحريني العاملين في المجال الصناعي، ويأتي هذا البرنامج استكمالاً لرؤية الشركة بضرورة الاستثمار بالعنصر البشري.
Aims to enhance technical skills and support new graduates from the industrial field
"GARMCO" welcomes the first batch of the Apprenticeship Program in the Mechanical Engineering Department
In cooperation with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) and Bahrain Polytechnic, and to support the growth of Bahraini youth, Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (GARMCO) welcomed its first batch of the Apprenticeship Program in the Mechanical Engineering Department.
The program aims to enhance the technical skills in the labor market by supporting new graduates from the industrial field and providing them with the necessary expertise and skills to become highly efficient technicians.
On this occasion, Mr. Fahad Al Basam, Executive Manager - Administration, said: "The apprenticeship program provides students with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in the course of 3 years. The program provide an opportunity to combine both the academic learning and the practical on the job training (OJT) where academic learning represents 30% of the program, while practical training is 70%"
He added: "The variance in percentage provided with more focus on the OJT ensures allowing exposure to the real working environment and ultimately giving the students a competitive advantage in the labor market by equipping them with knowledge and experiences mainly accessible in the field." Stressing that GARMCO will continue this program, which aims to train and employ Bahraini graduates.
He concluded: "This program reflects GARMCO's commitment to social responsibility by investing in the next generation of technicians and providing opportunities for Bahraini cadres from all educational tracks.
It is worth mentioning that Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (GARMCO) has worked on many programs and training courses to support Bahraini youth working in the industrial field. This program comes as a continuation of the company’s vision and dedication to investing in Human Capital.
