استقبلت الخليج لدرفلة الألمنيوم (جارمكو) وفد من وزارة الصناعة والتجارة، وغرفة البحرين، وسعادة سفراء جمهورية الصين الشعبية وروسيا الاتحادية.
وقد تم مناقشة العديد من الموضوعات المتعلقة بصناعة الألمنيوم على رأسها بحث سبل التعاون وفتح أسواق جديدة للصناعة المرتبطة بالتعدين وصناعة الألمنيوم والصناعات المتقدمة.
وقد حضر على رأس الوفد ممثلي غرفة البحرين السيد وليد كانو – عضو مجلس إدارة الغرفة و السيد فريد بدر – رئيس لجنة الصناعة والطاقة، وممثلي وزارة الصناعة والتجارة السيد خالد القاسمي - مدير إدارة التنمية الصناعية والسيدة ابتسام الشنو – رئيس التنمية الصناعية، وسعادة السفير ني روتشي سفير جمهورية الصين الشعبية لدى مملكة البحرين، وسعادة السفير السيد أليكسي سكوسيريف، سفير روسيا الاتحادية لدى مملكة البحرين.
وقد أكد الرئيس التنفيذي لجارمكو السيد محمد رفيع خلال الزيارة على أهمية الزيارة التي قام بها الوفد، منوها ان الشركة تعمل على جميع الاصعدة لزيادة من موقعها التسويقي العالمي، وانها باتت واحدة من أهم الشركات في درفلة الألمنيوم على مستوى العالم.
Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (GARMCO) received a delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Bahrain Chamber, and the Ambassadors of the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation.
Many topics related to the aluminum industry were discussed, most notably exploring ways of cooperation and opening new markets for the industry related to mining, the aluminum industry and advanced industries.
The delegation was headed by representatives of the, Bahrain Chamber, Mr. Waleed Kanoo - Member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber and Mr. Fareed Bader - Chairman of the Industry and Energy Committee, and representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Khalid Al Qasimi - Director of the Industrial Development Department and Ms. Ebtisam Al Shanoo - Head of Industrial Development, and His Excellency Ambassador Ni Ruchi, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Alexey Skosyrev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain
