GARMCO USA (Danbury-Connecticut)

The American market demands quality and service from its suppliers, and through GARMCO USA, we meet these demands fully. GARMCO USA sells all our core products from Bahrain through its own dedicated sales and service team. MIDAMERICA EXTRUSIONS (Indianapolis, Indiana)

A leader in aluminium extrusions, MIDAMERICA operates a 3,500 ton press with an annual output exceeding 10,000 tonnes of finished product. Capabilities range from the extrusion of the simplest stock shapes to the most custom design. The plant has the flexibility to manufacture products from a twelve-inch sign panel to a half-inch rod. This flexibility and the unique ability to extrude using two different container sizes means that uniform tight tolerances can be held for both small and large shapes.

MIDAMERICA sells for widely diverse applications that include: stadium seating, material handling, playground equipment, automotive, truck, trailer, architectural and commercial lighting. Continuing attention to customer requirements keeps MIDAMERICA at the forefront of the industry.

REPUBLIC FOIL INC. (Danbury-Connecticut)

A leading supplier of electrolytic capacitor foil worldwide, Republic Foil rolls down to 4.5 microns - the thinnest commercially produced aluminum foil in the world today. Besides the electrical applications of capacitor foil and strip conductor, Republic Foil is a supplier to the flexible packaging industry, supplies eyelet stock, finstock, cable wrap, specialty bright sheet and foil as well as stock for lithographic applications. These and many other industrial applications are supplied to exacting product and service standards with short lead times being a feature of this operation.

Through our extensive sales network across Europe, GARMCO has built up an enviable position as a quality supplier in one of the world's most sophisticated markets.

The whole range of GARMCO products is supplied throughout the region - coil for paint lines, sheet for general engineering, coil and sheet for major engineering and construction projects, and for foil reroll where only GARMCO quality can enable our customers to produce to international standards and export from their plants in the emerging economics. • GARMCO Foil Mill supplies quality mother coils to converters in the Middle East region. The Foil Mill supplies a range of feed stock for household foil, semi-rigid containers and finstock.

GARMCO (HK) Ltd.

Established in 1991, GARMCO's sales subsidiary in Hong Kong was the first step in GARMCO's drive into the developing markets of the Far East.

Through this initial regional presence, GARMCO demonstrated its commitment to the key markets of the region. The proximity of GARMCO (HK) to China and the markets in Japan, has enabled us to raise our service levels to meet the demands of our markets. Unaffected by time zone differences and able to communicate in the customer's own language, GARMCO (HK) has strengthened the ties that bind us to our markets and produced more than a threefold increase in our sales in the region.

This has led not only to a consolidation of our traditional business in Japan and the other markets of the Far East, but has served as the springboard for the expansion of our market into the emerging economies of China and the Asian countries. The success of this operation has led the way for the growth and enrichment of presence in the region through the formation of our other subsidiaries in Singapore, Australia and China. A sales office was opened in Shanghai, PRC, in 2003 and a service centre in 2006. 

GARMCO (S) Pte Ltd.
Singapore

Through years of trading experience and dealing in Singapore and the surrounding countries, GARMCO recognized the need for an aluminum service centre which could supply the full-range of products from Bahrain, as well as cut-to-size coil and sheet.

Established in 1993, GARMCO is the leading supplier of aluminium in Singapore. With extensive warehousing facilities and a range of finishing equipment that can slit coil down to 20mm width, GARMCO Singapore serves the markets of Singapore, Johor Bahru and Malaysia as well as offering services to Brunei, Thailand, Taiwan and Indonesia.

GARMCO Singapore also carries an extensive inventory of products such as plate, extrusions, electro galvanized steel of differing sizes and specifications so that the full range of our customers needs can be met and the just-in-time principle can be sustained.

GARMCO Australia Pty Ltd.
Melbourne

GARMCO (Australia) Pty Ltd was established in 1995 and quickly set the standard for supplying metal distributors and end users throughout Australia and New Zealand. Extensive stocks of sheet, coil and circles from GARMCO are held at the main facility in Melbourne, as well as plate and tread plate to supply all states of Australia. In line with the GARMCO philosophy of offering the fullest service possible, the Melbourne centre also offers the ability to slit and cut to length light gauge coil. This has increased our ability to be able to respond to local market requirements with a short lead time. The stock held in Melbourne complements the orders supplied directly from the mill in Bahrain. In New Zealand, we offer GARMCO sheet and coil through a national distributor with ten locations throughout the North and South Islands.

China

GARMCO (Shanghai) Ltd.

China market is considered one of the fastest growing markets in the aluminium business in the present decade. From that view and due to the demand on Garmco product the decision came to open an office in Shanghai.
