GARMCO took part in this year's Career Day 2012, which was held at the Bahrain University from 5th to 7th March 2012; the aim of the expo was to introduce students and graduates to different job opportunities available in the industrial and commercial sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

At the opening session, The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), HE Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi visited the company's stand, where he was welcomed by Human Resource and Training Manager Khalid Al Majid, who briefed him that GARMCO's involvement in the event was to expose the students to the variety of job opportunities available for them as well as the procedures followed in employment. Dr Janahi expressed his happiness at the involvement of GARMCO in this very important event and praised the organisation and the outstanding efforts received from the company.

The main objectives of the Career Day:

 

  • To work together with employers in providing University students with a wide spectrum of companies and establishments in the labor market.
  • To introduce students to various programs and options available in different establishments.
  • To provide students with further job opportunity.
  • To allow companies and establishments to work closely with University of Bahrain in its different activities.
